It was a pride and honor to coach the Super Eagles,Peseiro wrote on Facebook. We feel a sense of fulfilment. It has been a privilege to be part of this family. We will miss you, but we will always be there for you, no matter where you are, he added.
Peseiro guided Nigeria to the final of the recent Africa Cup of Nations, restoring belief after the team’s disappointing outing in the previous tournament.
And despite calls for him to continue, the 63-year-old revealed his Nigerian journey has come to an end.
