Asisat Oshoala is the most decorated African female footballer in history, having won the African Player of the Year award 6 times - more than any other African player, 𝐁𝐎𝐓𝐇 𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐅𝐄𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐄.
She is also the first African woman to score in a Champions League final and win the Champions League.
Oshoala made history during the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup by becoming the first African woman to score in three consecutive tournaments, scoring in the 2015, 2019, and 2022 editions.
