The starting point will be at Western Avenue, in front of the National Stadium Surulere, opposite Teslim Balogun Stadium. The finish will be in front of Eko Atlantic City, Victoria Island.

Bernard Sang of Kenya has won the 2024 Lagos City Marathon.

Sang returned with a time of 2 hours, 16.35 minutes

He is followed by fellow Kenyan, Silas Cheprot in second place in 2 hours 16.38 minutes, while Geoffrey Birgen came third in 2 hours 17.27 minutes

Adamu Shehu Muazu is the first Nigerian to finish. Muazu finished in 2 hours 29 minutes.
